Rattlesnake Hills 2012

The 2012 Rose’ was made with the saignee method, keeping the juice in contact with the syrah skins for several hours and creating a wine with a star-bright berry color. It has a hint of melon on the nose. On the palette the wine has some acidity and is lightly fruity suggesting strawberries and raspberries with a hint of lemon. A touch of residual sugar rounds it out on the finish.

The 2011 Rosé has a star-bright salmon color. The wine has a floral nose with hints of Jasmine and slate. On the palette the wine has crisp acidity and is lightly fruity suggesting raspberries and lemon.

The late harvest wine is the final wine made each year, from the last grapes picked during the season. Extending the time on the vine concentrates the fruit flavors and sugars in the berry's. The grapes were barrel fermented slowly in 50% new oak through the holiday season, producing a rich and moderately sweet wine, 16% residual sugar, as our gift to you.

Columbia Valley 2009

This Columbia Valley syrah was produce in a Côte-Rôtie style, co-fermented with 5% Viognier from the adjacent vineyard row. This syrah has the classic deep ruby color, aromas of raspberry and a bit of clove. On the pallet the wine is slightly tannic with flavors of black current, hint of black pepper and a little cedar. The wine will go great with hearty stews and red meat.

Columbia Valley 2009

A white wine grape commonly grown in the Northern Rhône region of France, Vortex Cellars sourced this viognier fruit from Columbia Valley. The grapes were whole cluster pressed, barrel fermented in French oak, and sur-lie aged for six months.
This 2009 Viognier is a brilliant pale straw color with aromas of orange blossom and honey. The flavor is slightly leesy with fruity hints of apricot and tangerine.

Tres Tinto

Três Tinto

The Três Tinto is a red wine blend from three Washington AVA’s. The grapes are Barbera and Sangiovese from Chelan, Yakima Valley, and Red Mountain. It is a deep ruby color with low tannin levels. The wine is crisp and suggests darker fruit flavors of blueberries and plums with a hint of smokiness.

Columbia Valley 2008

A blend of Touriga and Cab franc from Red Mountain and Columbia Valley. The wine is a deep ruby color with notes of caramel and dark cherry. On the pallet the Cascade red suggests vanilla and black cherry, blackberry and other dark fruits, with light tannins.
